Augie T’s “Chance ‘Um Tour” featuring Hawaii comedy legends Frank De Lima and Mel Cabang will perform at several Big Island venues starting June 10.

The tour follows a successful “Laugh Under The Stars” tour raising money for B.R.A.V.E. Hawaii, and celebrating 25 years of doing comedy with sold out shows statewide. It was originally slated to include Andy Bumatai, who was recently diagnosed with cancer, however, he was unable to attend. Per his request, the show will go on to make thousands of people across Hawaii laugh. Part of the proceeds will support Bumatai.

The first Hawaii Island show is 7:30 p.m. June 10 at Hilo’s Naniloa Crown Room. The trio then heads to Kainaliu on June 24 for a 7:30 p.m. performance at the Aloha Theatre before heading to Maui for a show. They return July 2 for a 7:30 p.m. show at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea.

Tickets for all Big Island shows are $20 in advance and $25 at the door; VIP seating is $40. They can be purchased online at www.augiet.com. Tickets are also available for the Hilo show at KTA Super Stores; for the Kainaliu show at www.apachawaii.org, and for the Waimea show at www.kahilutheatre.org.

Augie’s work has been recognized as best comedy show by Honolulu Magazine, topped the DVD sales chart, and won two Hawaii Music Awards and two Na Hoku Hanohano Awards.

Cabang has been a comic and business man in Hawaii for 40 years. He has appeared in numerous TV commercials and local TV programs.

De Lima has been entertaining Hawaii with family friendly local style humor for 36 years. The 14-time Na Hoku Hanohano Award-winner has been busy visiting Hawaii school children with his student enrichment program.
